The NUAS Programme for Leaders in Administration that started in 2019 ended its formal programme in 2022 after being somewhat prolonged by the covid crises. In June 2023, the group met in the Faroe Islands for their first alumni seminar, and on June 12-14. 2024, the group had their second alumni in Trondheim, hosted by NTNU.

The professional programme was mainly built around topics suggested by the participants, so this year AI and the consequences for universities was central. Furthermore, the participants contributed with presentations on topics of interest from their own universities, followed by discussions in groups. They then worked with “Action Learning” – sharing personal leadership matters and coaching each other in groups.

“I think we have found a formula that works well for our alumni group”, says Line Altern Halvorsen Valbø from University of Oslo, member of this year’s planning committee, “and it’s wonderful to see how the networking between participants is being strengthened every time we meet. Some also find time to meet in between.”

She also thanks Sidsel Valmot, UiO, for her contribution within leadership development and process facilitation at the seminar. “Now, a new planning committee has been appointed for the next alumni. The class of 2019-2020 lives on!” Line concludes.
