Webinar – Reducing carbon footprint at universities from flights

Introduction
Date: September 24, 2025, 13.00-14.30. (SE-, NO-, DK-time).
Join to learn about hands-on university wide approaches and solutions to reduce carbon footprint from flying at universities.
Universities collaborate internationally but it comes with a significant carbon footprint from flying. Some flying is unavoidable, but reduced flying is needed. Many Nordic universities have taken measures to address this challenging agenda and to continue practices from the Corona-years. Learn from Nordic universities with interesting approaches on managing and addressing this challenge.
First part will dive into hands-on solutions for managing the flight and CO2-data and the second part will dive into university wide approaches for embedding reduced flying in management and fostering change in travel practises.
Target group
Nordic university administrative staff with a responsibility on sustainable mobility and or reduction of university carbon footprint from flights.
