This webinar will focus on sustainability policies and the need for their further development at Nordic higher education institutions. We will discuss relevant policies and future steps through various cases from different Nordic countries.

2:00–2:55 pm – Discussions in breakout rooms followed by discussion in plenary: What are we doing for sustainability at Nordic higher education institutions? What should we do more or differently? Is there a need for a common sustainability policy for Nordic universities? What would be the future steps for policy formation and implementation?
2:55–3:00 pm – Closing words, Kristina von Oelreich

The webinar will be followed by two other webinars developing and specifying the topic further. In May 19, 2022, we discuss the carbon footprint of Nordic higher education institutions, and in September 15, 2022, we focus on the reduction and compensation of carbon footprint. There will be more information coming.
