DESCRIPTION:AboutProgram and MaterialsRegistrationPractical information\n				\n				\n					\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Universities face a wide range of security threats – from harassment and pressure on staff and students to an unstable global situation. Added to this are risks to our physical campuses and critical infrastructure such as disruptions to electricity and water which can quickly impact teaching and research. These developments call for crisis preparedness and resilience. \nThe real challenge is finding the right balance: It’s not about closing the university\, but about ensuring we can keep it open – even in difficult times. \nNUAS Faculty Administration group presents a webinar featuring discussions on these issues with Malmö university IT Director Magnus Wikforss and Head of Security Andreas Lendt\, moderated by Daniel Harju Popow. In their positions\, both Magnus and Andreas address such challenges on a daily basis. There will also be opportunity to ask questions during the session. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				If you would like to rewatch the webinar you can do so here! \nMagnus Wikforss is the head of Malmö University’s IT department in Sweden. He has a background in various managerial positions within public organizations. Magnus always stands on the side of the operations and strives to act as a link between specialist functions and operational staff. He holds a master’s degree in business administration with a specialization in management\, as well as a bachelor’s degree in sociology. Technology is just a tool! \nAndreas Lendt is the Head of Security at Malmö University with previous experience from the Swedish Armed Forces and the Swedish Police Authority. Research support units\, administrative staff working in research security\, HR-staff\, security advisors\, strategic advisors for management etc. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Ulla Kær Olesen is an experienced legal advisor with extensive expertise in drafting\, negotiating\, and managing research collaboration and technology transfer agreements on behalf of Aalborg University. Her work supports a university internationally recognized for excellence in technical and engineering research\, where the ability to navigate both open academic environments and more restricted research settings is essential. In addition to her contractual and advisory work\, Ulla plays a central role in strengthening Aalborg University’s approach to research security and export control compliance. She has substantial experience assisting university leadership and researchers in identifying and mitigating risks associated with international research partnerships\, sensitive technologies\, and regulatory requirements.
