SUMMARY:Identifying Forgery in Academic Credentials: Key Red Flags
DESCRIPTION:AboutProgram and MaterialsRegistrationPractical information\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n This webinar presents an overview and analysis of forged academic documents from a university college in Malaysia. The aim of this session is to highlight key indicators that help recognize document forgery and typical inconsistencies to look for when assessing the authenticity of academic documents. \n \n \n \n \n \n Chris Ahtonen has been working as an admissions officer at Chalmers University of Technology since 2016. She has spent most of her professional life in the education sector\, having previously lectured at universities in Malaysia. During the international master’s application round in the autumn\, she works as an officer for the virtual organization. Her areas of expertise include Indonesia\, Malaysia\, Korea\, Japan\, and Vietnam. Personally\, the kitchen is her sanctuary\, where she enjoys spending time experimenting with a variety of recipes. Despite living in Sweden for 15 years\, she is still adjusting to the erratic weather and the lack of sunlight. \n \n \n \n \n \n The webinar is free of charge and open to everyone interested in evaluating international credentials. \nHere is a registration link for the webinar: https://uu-se.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_0HUK267WRFSnnJ4ppFt7Qg \n

SUMMARY:Webinar – Security awareness: challenges in the university sector
DESCRIPTION:AboutProgram and MaterialsRegistrationPractical information\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Universities face a wide range of security threats – from harassment and pressure on staff and students to an unstable global situation. Added to this are risks to our physical campuses and critical infrastructure such as disruptions to electricity and water which can quickly impact teaching and research. These developments call for crisis preparedness and resilience. \nThe real challenge is finding the right balance: It’s not about closing the university\, but about ensuring we can keep it open – even in difficult times. \nNUAS Faculty Administration group presents a webinar featuring discussions on these issues with Malmö university IT Director Magnus Wikforss and Head of Security Andreas Lendt\, moderated by Daniel Harju Popow. In their positions\, both Magnus and Andreas address such challenges on a daily basis. There will also be opportunity to ask questions during the session. \n \n \n \n \n \n Magnus Wikforss is the head of Malmö University’s IT department in Sweden. He has a background in various managerial positions within public organizations. Magnus always stands on the side of the operations and strives to act as a link between specialist functions and operational staff. He holds a master’s degree in business administration with a specialization in management\, as well as a bachelor’s degree in sociology. Technology is just a tool! \nAndreas Lendt is the Head of Security at Malmö University with previous experience from the Swedish Armed Forces and the Swedish Police Authority. He has experience in leadership\, organization\, and training\, including in crisis management. \nDaniel Harju Popow is a communication officer at Malmö University with extensive experience in university communications\, supporting higher-education institutions through strategic messaging\, media relations\, marketing\, student recruitment\, and community outreach. \n  \n  \n \n \n \n \n \n Zoom-link for the webinar: https://mau-se.zoom.us/j/62210574507 \nThe webinar is free of charge. \n  \n \n \n \n \n \n When? Friday April 10th\, 2026 at 10-10:40 pm CET (Central European Time) \nFor whom? Central and Faculty level administrative directors and leaders with general administrative or service responsibilities at NUAS member universities in the Nordic countries.
