SUMMARY:Webinar: Implementation and management of a circular public procurement contract for furniture
DESCRIPTION:Circular public procurement (CPP) is one way to increase sustainability and circularity in public spending. As previous research focuses primarily on procurement\, more insight is needed on the latter stages CPP. Real-life examples of CPP implementation are also required to promote the concept to practitioners\, improve governance\, and add depth to the literature. \nThe study “Implementation and management of a circular public procurement contract for furniture” (https://www.frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/frsus.2023.1136725/full)\, therefore\, provides in-depth knowledge of CPP implementation and management by analyzing a case of circular furniture flows and its implications for the procuring organization. \nThe essay Interior architecture in the circular economy: Quality and sustainability aspects of interior design in public environments https://urn.kb.se/resolve?urn=urn:nbn:se:su:diva-183697  investigates composite design qualities in interior design and how these can be made more sustainable in the circular economy. Greater demands are placed on a reuse of products. Climate change requires us to slow down our consumption. DESCRIPTION:NUAS Communication Group invites you to the webinar: Indexing your scientists’ social media activity\nMike Young launched a new index in 2019 that ranks and compares scientists’ social media impact.  It uses a new method to compare scientists based on their follower numbers on the social media platforms most relevant for scientists and researchers – namely Twitter and LinkedIn.   The first iterations of the index (2019 and 2020) were for the Greater Copenhagen / Øresund region and for Denmark. In 2021\, the index will include other measures of impact – and other regions.   The results\, and the feedback from participating scientists\, offers lessons to all communications staff at universities.  In this webinar\, Mike will focus on the lessons from the index on improving research outreach\, and on how scientists can be nudged into becoming science ‘ambassadors’ for their universities.  How does your university encourage scientists’ social media activity and behaviour?
