Since\n2009\, Swedish authorities have been required to have a process-based information\nmanagement according to the regulations from the National Archive\, but the University of\nGothenburg has gone from talking about processes to instead talking about capabilities and\nhas merged the archive's classification structure with the IT capability architecture. DESCRIPTION:Welcome to NUAS webinar on responsible internationalisation\, February 8 at 13.15-14.45 CET \nNUAS Internationalisation dialogue II: Nordic examples on institutional code of conduct and risk management for responsible university internationalisation \nIn recent years\, international academic cooperation has become increasingly dependent on political\, economic\, and social contexts. This may create challenges for collaboration and fieldwork in countries that differ from the Nordic countries in terms of academic freedom\, corruption\, legislation\, and the respect for human rights. The NUAS internationalisation group has therefore identified a joint interest among Nordic higher education institutions to understand existing structures\, guidelines\, and support for collaboration with such countries. \nThis webinar will present practical examples on how Nordic universities can assess\, decrease\, and mitigate challenges in international cooperation for students as well as staff. Different types of code-of-conduct and risk management systems will be discussed. Ways of improving administrative staff knowledge will be shared. \nRegistration is open till February 7

SUMMARY:Pioneer of open science - Is Finland meeting the expectations?
DESCRIPTION:Do you want to know more about open science in Finland? \nFinland has declared itself a pioneer of open science in Europe. This goal is supported by the unique national coordination of open science\, which is financially supported by the Ministry of Education and Culture. Development has been very rapid in recent years: setting up coordination\, preparing declarations and recommendations based on the research community\, evaluating the level of maturity of open science of the research organizations\, building a new evaluation model (in progress)\, etc. It is characteristic of the Finnish operating model that national recommendations are produced in co-operation with research organizations\, not on the initiative of the Ministry. DESCRIPTION:NUAS Communication Group invites you to the webinar: Indexing your scientists’ social media activity\nMike Young launched a new index in 2019 that ranks and compares scientists’ social media impact.  It uses a new method to compare scientists based on their follower numbers on the social media platforms most relevant for scientists and researchers – namely Twitter and LinkedIn.   The first iterations of the index (2019 and 2020) were for the Greater Copenhagen / Øresund region and for Denmark. In 2021\, the index will include other measures of impact – and other regions.   The results\, and the feedback from participating scientists\, offers lessons to all communications staff at universities.  In this webinar\, Mike will focus on the lessons from the index on improving research outreach\, and on how scientists can be nudged into becoming science ‘ambassadors’ for their universities.  How does your university encourage scientists’ social media activity and behaviour? DESCRIPTION:Workshop: THE ROLES OF LIBRARIES IN CITIZEN SCIENCE\nOnline on October 7th 2020 at 15:00 – 17:00 (Finnish time) \nCitizen Science is an integrated part of Open Science and it is fast emerging as a possible platform for a dialogue between universities and society. A number of European associations such as LERU\, YERUN and LIBER recommend that universities create a Single Point of Contact for Citizen Science within universities. In accordance\, research libraries could pursue this opportunity.\nCitizen Science seeks the inclusion and empowerment for citizens while establishing a dialogue and is based on FAIR data. But what is Citizen Science\, exactly? What is the possible roles of libraries? What strategies should we pursue? How do we establish a Single Point of Contact?
